Pika's Factoids: The Two Towers

 

When I was in Tokyo for the Olympics, I visited the Tokyo Tower alongside my fair lady, Ms. Hello Kitty.  We couldn't but notice that there are many similarities with the Eiffel Tower in Paris.  Both towers are made of metal and have a similar shape and about the same height, and both are tourist attractions.  The Eiffel Tower is much older. It was built in 1887 as a main attraction of the World's Paris Fair.  The Tokyo Tower was built more recently in 1957 as a communication Tower. Both are very beautiful to see when lit up. 

Miss Hello Kitty and I went up to the observation deck and looked at City of Tokyo.  It was beautiful and romantic.  Next time at the next Olympics in Paris, I will take my fair lady, Ms. Hello Kitty to the Eiffel Tower. We can't wait to visit Paris, the City of Love. 

Opening Day of the Tokyo Olympics

 

Hello Friends and Fans from the Pokemon Network:

This is Pikachu reporting from Japan at the Inauguration of the Tokyo Olympics.  The inauguration was electric and you could feel it in the air. They had performers that were traditional and modern that showed the Japanese culture.  They showed modern dances and traditional dances.  It was awesome to watch.  

I was astonished to see the 1800 drones they used to create a globe above the stadium.  It was super electric and memorable. Also, they had a lot of wonderful fireworks. An electrifying view.

It's a blast being in Tokyo with my fair lady, Ms. Hello Kitty.  We have enjoyed the Inauguration very much, and we saw from far away the classy First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden.  It was fantastic.

Mr. Pikachu, what have you been doing lately now that things are opening up. Your fans want to know.

I have been asked by the Pokemon Network to report on the Tokyo Olympics and interview the athletes and take pictures. It's going to be electric!!

That's wonderful Mr. Pikachu. I can't wait to see who you get to interview and what sports you get to cover. It should be very exciting!

I have invited my fair lady, Ms. Hello Kitty, to join me in Tokyo. It will be a time to enjoy ourselves and remember while I cover the Olympic Games. We are planning to have a wonderful time together!

Oh Mr. Pikachu, that is great! We had heard about your hush-hush relationship with Ms. Hello Kitty. I guess it is no longer hush-hush, is it?

Our electric-current attraction has become stronger and now we can't deny it. Our fans need to know the truth. Ms. Hello Kitty and I are an item.

So Mr. Pikachu, what are your favorite Olympic sports?

I personally enjoy watching Judo, Karate and Fencing, but I will be a good host to Ms. Hello Kitty and I'll take her to see the Swimming, Equestrian and Gymnastics competitions. Those are her favorites. I have to earn some brownie points with Ms. Hello Kitty so that our relationship maintains its spark. You understand that, don't you?

Off course Mr. Pikachu. You are a smart cookie. No wonder you are so famous and loved by all your fans; and I'm sure Ms. Hello Kitty will appreciate your effort.

So, which athlete would you like to interview the most?

I'm hoping to interview Simon Biles. Ms. Hello Kitty and I would love to meet her. She is a wonderful athlete.

My Electrifying BFF

 

The Pokemon Network and my BFF Katie Perry approached me to do a Music Video an I just could not resist.  So, Katie created the video Electric, and it is wonderful, truly electric.  This is the first time I do a Music Video for the Pokemon Network and it was very exiting. The only thing I needed to do to be part of the video is ask Ms. Hello Kitty if she was OK with it. I just wanted to make sure she does not get jealous of all the attention I'm getting from my BFF Katie Perry. Thank God Ms. Hello Kitty is above all that.  She is too big of a star to worry. I'm a lucky Pokemon!

Could it be time for a Couple Name?

 

Last week, Ms. Hello Kitty and I went out on our first date.  It was very exiting.  We went to a fancy Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant, where the chef cooked in front of us using his very sharp knifes and made a big show for us. I think Ms. Hello Kitty loved it.  Then, I took my date to a Japanese garden to see the cherry blossoms and lotus flowers. It was very electric and romantic.  I can report that our date went very well.   

 

Now I'm beginning to think of "Couple Names".  Maybe it is a little too early, but there is no harm in thinking about it. Should it be "HelloPika", "PikaKitty" or KittyChu? Well dear friends, you are welcome to chime in.  There is still a few more dates before we are ready for a "Couple Name". I'm just crossing my fingers and toes.
