During high school, I volunteered at the Library for three years and learned the Dewey Decimal System which I forgot already.  Also, I thought of joining the Robotics Club but then I thought that would be toooo nerdy since I was in the Fashion Club.  What would my Fashion Club friends think? That would not look good for me.  Also, I started watching the show "Big Bang Theory" in secret and I even bought the "Soft Kitty" T-Shirt from the show.  I was a closet nerd.  What the Horror!!

Pika's Corner: Escaping the Summer Heat

To escape the 100 degree heat this summer, I am travelling with my Fair Lady, Ms. Hello Kitty to Argentina in South America. It is the beginning of winter in Buenos Aires and the weather is nice and cool. A friend of mine is lending me his private jet to travel in style.  Thank goodness for great connections; my Fair Lady will appreciate it.  Ms. Hello Kitty and I will be taking Tango lessons with the professionals in Buenos Aires, the Capital of Tango. Both of us want to keep the spark going and learn the "Dance of Romance".  As they say "It takes two to Tango".

Supergirl Coincidence

 

I was recently watching some episodes of Supergirl and it reminded me of a time in high school Math class when I was nicknamed "Supergirl". One time, my best friend was late for class.  She came down the ramp that led to the Math classroom very quietly, but I was able to hear the vibrations of her footsteps.  At that moment,  I told the teacher and the whole class that she was coming and that I could hear her footsteps. Nobody else could hear it. Everyone was very surprised when a minute later she came into the classroom.  Since that day, one classmate said: You have "Supergirl's" hearing. I do have a pretty keen hearing. That is my true and funny "Supergirl" story. 

Pika's Corner: It's Time for Our Annual Picnic

Spring has sprang and it is time to treat my fair lady to a picnic in the park.  Our "Annual Picnic" is how we celebrate the beginning of Spring.  This is how I treat my fair lady, Ms. Hello Kitty.  I prepare a basket full of goodies, snacks and fresh fruit to take to a beautiful park by a lake.  The weather has to be perfect, not too hot or cold and good to fly a kite.  Also, I bring a nice blanket and sunscreen. This is specially important for my fair lady, Ms. Hello Kitty. There is nothing better than a day outdoors to keep our connection going.

Pika's Corner: Babysitting Mini Piks

 

My sister dropped off my nephew, Mini Piks, for me to babysit.  It's my first time babysitting this little Pokemon and I am nervous, so I'm calling backup.  I thought to ask my fair lady, Ms. Hello Kitty to teach me and help me with this rambunctious little one.  Her first advice was to put Mini Piks on a schedule for eating and napping.  That sounded like a good advice until I tried to enforce it on Mini Piks.  What a disaster! Little Mini Piks is a bit mischievous, he runs around non stop and he does not want to listen to me.  I'm so exhausted. This business of babysitting is a LOT of work.  Also, my fair lady did not have pity on me.  She left me alone so I'm now sinking in quick sand.  Wish me luck, I hope to survive this little Mini Picks.

Pika's Corner: My New Year's Celebration Plans with Ms. Hello Kitty

 

This year I will be spending New Year's Eve with my fair lady, Ms. Hello Kitty. It will be a quiet and romantic evening for two; this way we can spend quality time together and stay safe away from Omicron.  My plans include a fabulous candlelight dinner with music.  I'm flying in a famous French Chef that will prepare us a delicious Beef Bourguignon and a Creme Brulee for desert, my favorite. Also, I'm hiring some violin players to serenade us during dinner.  Smooth move, don't you think? Best Wishes to all for a Happy New Year 2022!! 

Pika's Corner: Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

 

Dear Friends, in a few days Ms. Hello Kitty and I will be going to the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party at the Pokemon Network.  I'm a little nervous and concerned because this will be the first time ever that I will be going with a date and as you know, some of my coworkers are a bit unruly and unpredictable.  The Pokemon crowd can be a bit rough. I'm afraid some of them will try to hit on Ms. Hello Kitty. As  you know, she is smart, beautiful and super famous, just like me. I just need to make sure I keep my cool, but still protect my fair lady, Ms. Hello Kitty from those ruffians.  I'll let you know how it turns out.
